Lizzygang
Lizzygang was the subcommunity that formed around Liz777, a Milady persona styled after Elizabeth Holmes. Known as Elizabeth or Lizzy, the persona built the community through constant, effusive affection toward other accounts. Writer Cry Prittie described Lizzy's "lovebombs" as taking "a sledgehammer to the Online Love Overton window."[1]
History
Lizzygang developed within the Milady community during 2022. During Charlotte Fang's absence from Twitter after the Milady Cancel, Liz777 helped hold the community together, including through the FBI Hat avatar trend.[1]
In June 2022, Elizabeth disappeared from the timeline. The account later re-emerged as Chloe21e8, and Elizabeth described the departure as "simply participating in Gravity Boost Theory."[1] Prittie's essay Goodbye, Again, Forever documents Lizzygang's characters, memes, and internal disputes, and the community's response to the loss. Prittie wrote that "the Loss of Elizabeth is the dress rehearsal for all Loss On The Internet."[1]
