Polar Express is a background trait in the Redacted Remilio Babies NFT collection, depicting the illustration used on the Masterpieces The Polar Express jigsaw puzzle, based on the 2004 animated film directed by Robert Zemeckis.

Background
The Polar Express was published by Chris Van Allsburg in 1985, telling the story of a young boy who boards a magical steam train on Christmas Eve bound for the North Pole. The book sold over 6.5 million copies and has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list every Christmas season since its first publication.[1] Van Allsburg was partly inspired by the Pere Marquette 1225, a 2-8-4 Berkshire steam locomotive he played on as a child when it was on static display at Michigan State University — noting that its number read as 12/25, Christmas Day.
Masterpieces is a Canadian puzzle manufacturer known for producing licensed puzzles based on popular films, artwork, and cultural properties. The Polar Express puzzle illustration — depicting the locomotive in a dramatic nighttime winter scene — is the specific source image used in the Remilio background trait, giving it the same domestic nostalgic register as the collection's Reef background, which is likewise sourced from a jigsaw puzzle illustration rather than a film or game screenshot directly.
