Abundance Mindset
Abundance Mindset (also referred to as Abundance Mentality) is a core philosophical tenet in Remilia culture that rejects scarcity-based thinking in favor of karmic reciprocity, infinite digital possibilities, collaboration over competition, and proliferation without regard for limited supply.
Background
The concept appears in early Remilia discourse contrasting scarcity and abundance mindsets. It was formalized as one of the central beliefs in the New Net Art Manifesto.
Origin and development
The New Net Art Manifesto, written by Charlotte Fang for the Remilia Corporation and publicly released in 2022, dedicates a section to the principle:[1]
"Karma is real at every level; all presumptions are manifested, you receive the world what you give to it. We escape the spiritual poverty of scarcity by embracing a mindset of abundance regardless of real means, knowing wealth of all types will follow. This reflects in our antithesis of irl art world's interpersonal habits: a space of extreme scarcity—many players, few winners—they gatekeep workflows, resist collaboration, maintain vicious competitiveness & shallow loyalties as a standard. We reject all this & win for it."
It was applied during the Avant NFT Wave campaign (2021–2022), where Remilia platformed and promoted other experimental NFT projects rather than treating them as competitors.[2]
Later writings, such as the June 2022 essay "Milady as a Total Art," describe it as reminding participants that the digital is infinite: "Never stop posting, right click save, accelerate Milady proliferation, forget about supply." This contrasts with scarcity dynamics in traditional art institutions.[3]
Usage in Remilia discourse
The term appears in posts by Charlotte Fang framing it as part of a broader set of values. In October 2024 she wrote that embodying the Remilia ecosystem "means embodying the values of network spirituality... post-authorship, post-cancel, abundance mindset, the lovepill and the godpill is a movement." It is contrasted with "dog bone village" greed and short-term trading focus, with references to earlier advice to "stop trading and believe in something" beyond profit.[4]
An earlier 2023 post linked it to karmic and hyperstitional elements: "ABUNDANCE MINDSET: Wealth Flows from Karmic Position x Hyperstitional Prayer =Eternity Time Preference is a Mode of Soul <3".[5]
