Shiro
Shiro (真白) is a digital artist and fashion design graduate known for creating NFT collections and character art within the Remilia Corporation community. Operating under the username shiro57102 on social media platform X, Shiro has developed multiple projects including the Oh... I See custom PFP NFT project, Shishi NFT collection, the Eth Chan character series, and World Computer Netizens on MegaETH.[1]
Shiro is a fashion design graduate and identifies with cyber angel aesthetics, incorporating Japanese street fashion influences into her digital artwork.[2]
Projects
Oh... I See
Oh... I See is Shiro's custom profile picture commission project, featuring 195 unique, individually hand-drawn NFTs, distinguishing it from generative profile picture projects. Each piece incorporates stylistic elements from the Milady and Remilio collections while maintaining Shiro's distinctive artistic approach. The collection's relatively small supply and custom artwork contributed to its reception within the neochibi community.[3]
Shishi
Shishi is a collection of 3,520 generative NFTs in a neochibi aesthetic with randomized traits inspired by net art and fashion trends.[4] The collection draws on Japanese fashion, Korean fashion, and Y2K aesthetic influences, and was described as Shiro's first generative collection inspired by custom profile picture artwork.[5]
The project aims to combine whitehearted and whitepilled sentiments with net art and fashion design, reflecting Shiro's background in fashion and her engagement with internet culture aesthetics.
Eth Chan
Shiro created the Eth Chan character as part of an ongoing art series titled "Day X of drawing eth chan until 10k Ethereum."[6] The series features daily artwork of the anime-style character Eth Chan, who serves as a mascot for Ethereum and represents hope for the cryptocurrency reaching $10,000 in value.
The project gained significant attention within the Ethereum community, including recognition from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who followed Shiro on social media.[7] The character's popularity led to multiple unauthorized memecoin launches using the Eth Chan character, which Shiro has publicly opposed.
Affiliation with Remilia
Shiro is a princess of Remilia. Shiro has expressed public support for Remilia Corporation, describing herself as believing in "Remilia One Thousand Forever" in social media posts.[8] Her work shares aesthetic connections with Remilia projects through the use of neochibi styling, Japanese fashion influences, and internet culture references similar to collections like Milady Maker.
