The "I LOVE YOU CHARLOTTE FANG" slogan originated with Liz777, a prominent community figure in the Milady Maker ecosystem. During Charlotte Fang's temporary break from Twitter following the May 2022 cancel attempt, Liz777 was reportedly contacted by Fang, who indicated plans to return within three days.[2]

In preparation for Fang's return, Liz777 created what would become a defining visual and textual motif for the period: a Milady avatar edited to wear Fang's iconic FBI hat, accompanied by the simple but impactful message "I LOVE YOU CHARLOTTE FANG" in all capital letters.[3]

Following Liz777's post, the slogan and accompanying FBI hat visual spread rapidly through the Milady community.
