Elena Velez AW2026 was a fashion show held on February 12, 2026, during New York Fashion Week, presenting designer Elena Velez's Autumn/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The show included the debut of the Remilia Atelier capsule collection, a collaboration between Velez and Remilia Corporation built around the Universal Work Suit.
Background
On February 11, 2026, Elena Velez and Remilia Corporation announced the launch of Remilia Atelier, a fashion lifestyle brand. The debut capsule collection is built around the Universal Work Suit, a unisex two-piece suit system inspired by yakuza fashion. The suit was conceptualized by Charlotte Fang and tailored by Velez, adapting the Japanese yakuza's wide-fit, oversized silhouette through Velez's deconstructive tailoring.[1]
A feature-length film titled Beautiful Tragedy accompanied the collection. Shot in Tokyo by director Ryu Jinnou, the film stars Dasha Nekrasova, Hoon Choi, and Shunya Tsukahara in a coming-of-age drama that develops into a yakuza thriller. Stills from the production were used as lookbook imagery.[2]
The show
Clavicular, a lookism streamer described in the press release as "infamous," closed the Remilia Atelier segment as the final model. He wore an Atelier cufflinks shirt treated with a reflective liquid finish paired with suit trousers, and livestreamed his walk while a cameraman lit the suit's reflective treatment from the runway.[1]
The Impression gave the collection a score of 6.4 out of 10.[3]
