Damon Rush

Damon Rush (also known as damon r.) is an American electronic musician, producer, and visual artist based in Los Angeles. Debuting on SoundCloud in 2019, he works primarily in electroclash and electropop, and is associated with the indie sleaze revival scene that intersects with the Remilia Corporation ecosystem and its affiliated artists.

Rush gained an underground following through self-released singles and EPs drawing on the sonics of Crystal Castles and early electroclash. His work sits within a loose constellation of SoundCloud-native acts alongside artists including 2hollis, Snow Strippers, and The Hellp. He is also a member of the collective DRES.

Career

Rush began releasing music under the name Damon Rush on SoundCloud in 2019, with early singles including Blush and Cardio establishing his signature blend of aggressive synth production and pop songcraft. Over the following years he released a string of singles and shorter projects, including Weekend Warrior and Just Obliterate (both 2022).

In 2023 he collaborated with 2hollis on the remix EP Rebuilds, which drew attention to both artists within the overlapping indie sleaze and hyperpop-adjacent underground. That same year he performed at Milady Rave x Adworld LA, held on February 11, 2023 — the first Milady Rave in Los Angeles, organized in collaboration between Remilia Corporation and the Adworld team.

His debut proper EP Re followed on February 29, 2024, receiving favorable reception on music tracking platforms. He has since released further singles including liverounds (2024) and tricked out (2024), and performed internationally alongside Suzy Sheer as part of WavyLand in Melbourne in late 2025.

In addition to music production and performance, Rush directs and edits his own music videos and visual work.
