Remicat

Remicat (aka Remilia Cat) is a mascot and recurring symbol within the Remilia CULT ecosystem. Originally a cute in-joke turned community totem, Remicat represents the softer, more ironic side of the Milady aesthetic — bridging memes, $CULT energy, and the surreal charm of the Remilia canon.

Origins

Remicat started circulating inside Milady Village and $CULT spaces as the MiVi emojis quickly gained traction. As more villagers began using Remicat emojis, stickers, and GIFs, the character became shorthand for a specific flavor of Milady humor — soft, self-aware, cursed, and adorable.

The most iconic renditions of Remicat were illustrated by Kira (@kirach3w), giving form to what became one of the most recognizable pieces of iconography in the Remilia network.

Spread

As the emoji wave spread, so did the memes. Remicat edits, animations, and short clips started appearing in Milady videos and posts more often. While Remicat was always there, it became a bigger part of Milady visual language—featured on Shishi comissions, custom Miladys or $CULT symbols across timelines and onchain art drops.

Official appearances

Remicat later appeared in sanctioned Remilia releases, most notably on the Remilia 2025 Diary (store.remilia.org). Since then, the character has become a recurring motif in minor merch drops and design references across Remilia media.

Social presence

An appreciation account dedicated to Remicat — run by H8KU and Lettuce — operates as @remicat_cult, curating art, memes, and lore connected to the mascot.

Derivatives

Remicat’s viral presence spawned multiple community side projects, including:

  • Unofficial remicat-themed coins on Solana and Ethereum.
  • An NFT collection under @remicat_333.

None of these are official Remilia products, but they reflect the mascot’s memetic reach across networks.

Symbolism

Within the Remilia mythos, Remicat embodies the balance between absurdity and tenderness. It’s both a joke and a logo, a placeholder for the post-ironic spirit of the Milady movement — cute, cryptic, and strangely sincere.
