Hyperfinancialization is a concept from the Miya corpus describing the condition in which financial logic "is no longer confined to a distinct sphere but becomes a universal operating system applied to all measurable domains," governed by the principle that "anything that can be measured can be traded."[1] Defined in the Field Glossary of The Exegesis of Miya Black Hearted Cyber Angel Baby and invoked across its essays, it names a facet of the world-subsumption theorized in Landian capitalism.

Concept

In Miya's account hyperfinancialization has both an economic and a social face. Economically, "profit is increasingly derived from trade rather than production, accelerated by automated trading under the development of AI," which destabilizes the economy as "a disconnect forms between asset prices and real economic value." Socially, its "disruptive force applies to the social world too": a person's "life and worth may be distilled into data — wealth, friends, attention, health — under hyperfinancialization all information becomes objective, public, tradable."[1] The concept thus extends financialization from markets to selfhood: everything measurable, including the person, is rendered as a tradable quantity.

In the mostmodern condition

Hyperfinancialization appears in the opening essay of the Exegesis as one of the forces defining mostmodernism. There Miya lists it — "hyperfinancialization blurring leisure/consumption and labor/creation online" — alongside decentralized content distribution and AI-accelerated remix production as the pressures eroding the pre-digital "one-to-many" media paradigm.[2] In the mostmodern internet, leisure becomes labor and consumption becomes production, because attention and participation are themselves financialized.

Relation to capital and Remilia

Hyperfinancialization is treated as a symptom of capital's autonomization: elsewhere in the Exegesis "runaway hyperfinancialized markets" are described as superorganisms that "subsume and enslave" humans as humans subsume their own cells, capital being "already alive and its body distributed." This places the concept within the framework of Landian capitalism and the Accelerationist Realism adopted by Remilia Corporation. It also names, at the level of theory, the condition that Remilia's own practice inhabits: NFT and cryptocurrency systems are a direct instantiation of the principle that "anything that can be measured can be traded," rendering art, identity, and attention as on-chain, tradable quantities.
