Art Production Fund is a nonprofit organization established in 2000 by Yvonne Force Villareal and Doreen Remen to commission and produce public art. It acts as a producer, providing guidance, resources and support to artists for complex public art projects.[1][2]
With Ballroom Marfa, it produced Elmgreen and Dragset's Prada Marfa in 2005. The organizations subsequently maintained the installation after its original plan of allowing unrestricted deterioration was changed.[2]
