Remilia-Con 2023 was a three-day series of events organized by Remilia Corporation in Shibuya, Tokyo, held from April 14 to 16, 2023. Described by Remilia as the inaugural edition of the convention format, it brought together a rave, an art exhibition, a community meetup, and the launch party for the Bonkler NFT collection across several venues in the Shibuya district.[1]
Events
Milady rave tokyo
The first event, Milady Rave Tokyo, took place on the night of April 14 running through to sunrise on April 15. Held in Shibuya, it featured local underground acts and DJs, continuing a series of Milady Raves that Remilia had previously organized in Manhattan, London, and Los Angeles. A livestream was made available through the Milady Village Discord server for community members unable to attend in person.[1]
Momentary gallery exhibition
On April 15, Remilia hosted "Momentary," a gallery art exhibition staged at B1Flat in Shibuya. The show presented exclusive 1/1 artworks by Mara Barl, Atrpntime, Ilyena Nienel, and Milady Sonora Sprite.[1]
Decentralized McDonalds meetup
On the afternoon of April 16, Remilia organized an informal community gathering in Shibuya billed as the "Decentralized McDonalds Meetup," scheduled for noon.[1]
Bonkler launch party
The convention concluded on the evening of April 16 with the Bonkler Launch Party, held at B1Flat from 5 pm to 10 pm. The event served as the public launch celebration for Bonkler, Remilia's new NFT collection announced alongside the convention.[1]
